I got the PDF a week ago after my friend Mike of Rebel Minis had shown them to me along with watching Robins Youtube channel. I love the fact that it is a PDF, my son or myself can not destroy this rule book! The rules flow very well, the game mechanics are quit easy to understand. Unit building is a little cluttered but not difficult, I have built profile cards for two alien races, the Kurgani Empire and the Tyss mercenaries who are from the John Dalmas' novel The Regiment, they will fight in the campaign that will follow the civil war in the Kurgani Republic that leads to the founding of the Empire.
